Still picking away at projects for the site, in spite of just starting Dark Souls and already loving the masochistic GET BETTER, LOSER play style of it. I went into it for possibly the worst reason ever (FROM made Armored Core!), but I’m enjoying it regardless of the lack of corrupt megacorporations and swappable protagonist limbs.
Maybe I’ll do a comic about it at some point. I used to do that a lot!
I feel I ought to apologize for the lack of [+/-] so far this year, I’ve been trying to nail down everything to start my other ‘long’ series, which I honestly meant to put out the first chapter of by now. I’m STILL acclimating to my new position at work, which is a bit more physically demanding as well as more erratically scheduled, but I’m getting into something of a routine with it and trying to do more than spend my days off staring at a screen or wall and at least scrawl something in my sketch pad before crashing.
I guess the best way to summarize why things have been so slow of late is that I have a bunch of things I WANT to do, but I only realistically have time/energy to put into one or two of them. If I was still living at home like when I started the site, I’d probably have made like four or five ‘stub’ pages here for games and comics doomed to incompletion. Ah, those were the days.
