Town: Lead-in to "It's a Dog's Life," makes no freaking sense. You'd think
with all the trouble they went through to have video game-based comics, they'd
have more characters from actual video games in these things. One page.
Captain N. If you don't remember him, you're probably lucky. His is the all-too-familiar story of a high schooler who is obviously a hit with the ladies, what with his mad Nintendo skillz and custom Nintendo jacket, who is sucked into Videoland to save it from the Mother Brain.
Besides the cartoon that sapped away countless hours of our youth, there was also a short-lived comic series published by the rightfully defunct Valiant Comics. They also did Mario, Zelda, and the even less successful-than-that Punch-Out and Metroid comics. Anyway, here some of them are, fresh from a dollar store like six years ago, to the bottom of my bookshelf, then straight to you.
Captain N: Welcome to Videoland!: Captain N's origin story. Not much to say about it besides the had the nerve to show some nondescript barbarian alongside two actual villains and an ape in a shower cap. Two pages.
Captain N and His Fabulous Powers: To further drive home the subtle gayness, an in depth description of how "FABULOUS!" his accessories (and powers) are. They make sure to touch on the fact he's absolutely useless in a pinch, as well. Two pages.

Nervous Meltdown: Mother Brain is in a coma, and her subconscious is filled with mud, furries, and Gwen Stefani. Then it gets deep for some reason.
It's a Dog's Life: Captain N and his dog switch brains. Nobody can tell. Meanwhile, Mother Brain perfects a Stupid Ray to make her look smarter and dogbrain Kevin makes some really entertaining facial expressions.
The Master Machine: Within ten seconds of coming online, the heroes' new supercomputer goes crazy and tries to kill the princess. Mercifully Kid Icarus is nowhere to be found, but the ending may just be the most horrfiying thing you'll ever see.
