The coloring is kind of a mess, but it’s been a while since I tried to practice with some real shading or inked in photoshop. The lines are pretty rough, but I guess it doesn’t show in the small view. (click to enlarge.) The right side of the face was done mostly on a layer above set to Multiply, the left was done with a soft brush on Color Burn. My usual method of shading is to put a Multiply layer above the flat color layer and apply various shades of grey, sometimes blending or shading as needed (since I color in a ‘cel painted’ style most of the time, I wind up using one or two shading layers and typically a layer for ‘glow’ effects and hair highlights without blending much, if at all.)
