I kind of felt bad about how like 2 out of 3 of my Dragon Half drawings have been kind of wonky looking, so I decided to re-do the Mink crest thing I did earlier in the year. Still rough, but I wanted to splash some color in there to save myself the trouble of looking for swatches if/when I properly ink and finish it up.

I think if I’ve improved anything over time this year is I’ve loosened up a little bit with my posing and the Take 2 version pulls off the ‘cute’ better for it. Hopefully I can clean it up later without losing it in the line work. Again.

I want to hug them all then subject them to random encounters.

I’m aiming to put a demo set together with kind of a minimal hero set, 25-30 rooms (there’s 25 max on the ‘board’) and probably like 8-10 heroes and an assortment of monsters and equips that I can finally get going on testing with.

…still don’t really have a name, though.

Though really this feels like comparing apples to oranges since I wound up doing basically a completely different style. I don’t hate it, though. It’s kind of messy, but that’s mostly from doing it in MyPaint and just kind of running with it for a couple hours.
