Yeah, it’s not much, but I’ve had enough monitor staring over the past couple days.
I upgraded to Windows 10 today. I wouldn’t call the process “broke†so much as just a series of minor, easily fixed annoyances. First, I had no sound and couldn’t display in 9:13, which resolved itself after a couple reboots, then the internet adapter turned off. Just, spontaneously. Didn’t break, just turned off. The worst step was getting my Wacom going again- and again, the stupidly easy solution turned out to be that at some point Windows decided that it should be tied to a non existent second monitor so that every time I touched the pad, the cursor leapt to the upper left corner of the screen.
Bah. As you can see, I got it working just fine again and did a little Gainaxy/Triggery warm up thing before I mess with card roughs again.
It’s hot and I don’t want to do anything and the cat is sitting on my tablet now so I mostly just drew as many future Angel Dust characters as possible. Not all are named or finalized in looks.
Also I can’t unsee the Destroid Tomahawk’s big happy :D face after looking at it head on.
Jade Wing came up in yesterday’s post, and someone was curious about how that looked. It’s been so long I don’t remember any emblems or junk like that any more, so I kind of winged what a VF-1J from that squadron would look like, then tried to play with wing paint patterns. It’s really half born from the name of the Vermillion Squadron (that seems like such an ungainly name to repeat over the radio in a firefight) and half thinking Clan Jade Falcon was cool.
