I think the humidity has thoroughly microwaved my brain. Still, I count all the chibis as kind of useful since as mentioned before, this is kind of the style I’m wanting to use in a game I’m working on. I’m kind of aiming for a vibe between Etrian Odyssey and the Dept. Heaven series by STING, though I think the glossier anime style color and shading worked fine for the Lina I did before.

I’ll probably set about doing finished versions of these down the line as I have more “blah” burnt out nights, it seems like a good way to spend an evening when I can’t think of anything fresh.

Also I have a friend going to the Slayers art show in Tokyo right now, so maybe that’s part of why this crept into my head again…

I was basically inking all day, off and on and started to do this as a  cooldown thing, then I screwed up porting the sketch out of MyPaint and wound up inking on the pencil layer when I didnt realize it had exported layers in the first place. Oy vey.

I’m already up past when I ought to be, so here’s this for now.
