Been playing with both colors and pushing poses and shapes a bit more, since I figure as long as I want to screw with comics, I should keep pushing expression where I can. I’m not sure how suited a more painterly approach is to this kind of stuff, but it doesn’t look horrible either. I think I like the hard edged 90’s anime style shading more for this.

I have the Eva-02 pic as my phone wallpaper to shame me into attempting to do better.
