It’s pretty widely known at this point, at least among people who are fans of Journey to Silius, that the game was originally intended to be a Terminator licensed game. The cover up job was kind of questionable, since there are a lot of skeletal looking robot enemies, probably most notably the final boss of the game being a towering, humanoid android. Regardless, it was a pretty awesome game. Hard as nails too. It had the distinction of being hard to beat even with a Game Genie, since it only offered a code for invincibility against “most” enemies, and the things that damaged you became more and more frequent the further you got.

CLEVER GIRL.

I’ve been listening to a lot of retro soundtracks while I draw lately, so blame that for this weird pseudo Metal Gear looking version of the protagonist, Jay McCray. There isn’t really any official art to base it on that I could find, excluding the cover art of the Japanese version (RAF World) which made him look like a Kamen Rider style armored hero or cyborg.

The awesome site Android Arts has concept art for a remake of this (and The Guardian Legend) so check them out too while I try and get some information on whether we’re related or something.
