Wow, this is the least dead I’ve felt in an evening for a while. I’m starting to suspect it’s at least partially dietary reasons since I’ve been spending a lot of time with my Dad and when we “spend time†it’s usually eating out at some point or another. Plus when I get off work dead tired, there’s a hibachi place across the street and a pizza place in between me and home, so I probably make more stops there than I oughta. Ahem. Getting back on track this week with some lighter fare and lots and lots of water. Not ale.

I’ve been kind of in one of those modes lately where I’m bursting with ideas but haven’t got the juice to do any of them, which is really disappointing to me since I really did intend to produce more comics this year after a major slump in the latter half of 2014. To be honest, one of the things that helped snap me out of the funk was finding out there was still a small but active fan base for Slayers, which helped me focus on just doing stuff I want to do without agonizing about marketability or being current and hip or whatever. I marathoned the movies and OAVs with my girlfriend last week and they still get a laugh, dammit. Who cares about how old something is if it’s good, dammit?
